Finally...Opening Game Tonight

After two games postponed by rain the Morgantown Angels open the season tonight against the Nashville White Sox.  The weatherman is forecasting 61 degrees and partly sunny for the scheduled 6:00 pm first pitch.

We are looking for a strong start to the season as the Angels need some momentum to get going.  Exhibition games showed a tendency for mental lapses at times.  These lapses proved costly and for the Angels to be successful they must be avoided.

We talked about mental toughness in our last post and it is crucial to be able to put a bad play or at bat behind and focus on the next play.  Too many times we dwell on mistakes which causes our opponents to have a big inning.

We will have a full report of the game in our next post.  Until then, glorify God in everything you do.  We do not serve God to win but we do strive for excellence in everything we do for God's glory.

"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." -1 Corinthians 10:31
